Zahidi Dates

Golden, firm and lightly sweet, Zahidi is the date for people who like a little less sugar. Medium-sized and oval with a light amber skin, it has a semi-dry, satisfying chew and a mild, nutty flavour.

Our Zahidi are grown in the red desert country southeast of Alice Springs, where long hot days and dry air ripen the fruit slowly on the palm before it’s hand-picked.

Snack on them through the day, pack them for work or the road, or chop them into baking, granola and salads. Their firmer texture holds up well in cooking.
